1st Annual Drive for Food Golf Tournament

Charlottetown, PEI, August 6th, 2007 - The Men's Club of Ss. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Charlottetown will be hosting the First Annual Drive for Food Golf Tournament, Saturday, September 15th at Glen Afton Golf Course with a tee off time of 1pm.

Co-Chairs for the tournament are David Mackenzie and Nasser Saad. David MacKenzie, Sub-Deacon of Ss. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, welcomes everyone to attend saying, "We are very excited to be hosting our first Golf Tournament and happy that we can offer half of the proceeds from the tournament as a donation to the Upper Room Food Ministry."

Nasser Saad, stated, "The hole in one prize for the 17th hole is a new 4 door 5 speed Honda Civic car from Capital Honda, plus there will be other prizes to win"

The tournament format will be a four person team, best ball scramble format, with a meal hosted by Chef Kenny Zakem following the completion of the tournament. The cost will be $30/person for Glen Afton Members and $45 per person for non-members.

There will be individual hole sponsorships available at a cost of $100 per hole with the sponsor receiving a sign posted at the tee off point as well as their name listed in the thank you bulletin sent to all participants at the end of the tournament.
